(photo -- and nachos -- by Dan)
It was a day of nachos with cherry tomatoes and avocado.

It was a day of chewy, soft, chocolate chip cookies (the King Arthur Flour recipe is superior and if anyone wants it I will post it here) made with peanut butter chips in addition to the chocolate ones.
It was a day in which I went to bed without dinner -- but I did so without complaint.

Holy moly, those nachos look GOOD! I'm curious about your cookie recipe... I've been a die hard Tollhouse girl since Day 1, so we may have to have a bake-off...
Looks so delicious!!!
LVP and Gracie O, thanks for commenting! I haven't compared them directly to Tollhouse cookies, but I thought they were excellent. You can find the recipe here:

I used 1 cup chocolate chips and slightly more than 1 cup of peanut butter chips, rather than the 3 cups of chocolate chips called for in the original recipe.
