My mother-in-law does something similar with garlic and various curry spices, but fries them instead. I imagine this iteration is just as addictive.
Yum.Frying might even be tastier, though potentially less healthy (healthy is not usually my first concern).
I loooove roasted chickpeas. Yum and easy indeed. I use garam masala, or a rosemary-lemon-tamari-olive oil scenario.
I love your variations. I need more cans of chickpeas!
