From the Vaults: New favorites

I am a creature of habit when it comes to Ritter Sport bars. I tend to stick with Marzipan, Cornflake, and Peppermint. But I am rarely disappointed when I try a new flavor.  Weiss + Crisp is white chocolate and cornflakes. Karamell Nuss is caramel and hazelnut with crispy rice pieces. Both are divine.

Go ahead! Collect them all!

How to be a good sport

I'm back in Ritter Sport land.



Some thoughts About Ritter Sport Yogurt:
1. I love the word Yaourt (it's French).
2. Although, "I'll be the judge of that," was my response to the packaging's claim that this flavor contains a "refreshing yogurt filling," it turned out to be true. But it's not refreshing in the sense of "thirst quenching" or "renewing your energy." It's refreshing like, "pleasingly different from what you've been eating."
3. Tangy!




Some thoughts about Ritter Sport Peppermint:
1. Hard to find.
2. This was a good Valentine's Day gift.
3. The peppermint flavor and scent are both a little sharp and the chocolate flavor is reminiscent of Oreos.
4. Filling: perfectly creamy!

I don't need knickknacks

but I could put Lorenz Snack-World NicNacs on a few shelves ...



These "double-crunch peanuts" are like nut-covered nuts (as described by Dan). The outside is salty and extra-crunchy, with an unidentifiable light layer of non-nut flavor -- smoky or like a very, very mild BBQ corn chip. The brand's website calls this a "fiery coating." Fiery it is not.

I have only a few small snack packs to consume, but these taste like they'd be best in batches. Eat a bunch! Buy in bulk!

Although bought in Vienna, my research indicates NicNacs (or "NicNac's" on the English website, which I refuse to accept) are German. I wonder how they compare to the South African Nik Naks enjoyed by these gamers.
