There's a best time for everything.

Not only was I was inducted into the office's Chick-fil-A club on Friday with an inaugural trip to its NYC location, but it was actually my first Chick-fil-A experience ever in my life.

I had delicious waffle fries (as advised by KRF) and the BEST chicken sandwich (fast food or restaurant) I have ever had in my entire life (despite its simplicity). I also tried one of Dave's chicken nuggets, which are made from the same moist, amazing, flavorful fried chicken. I am afraid to say too much about how good the chicken was, for fear I will dilute the experience with overabundance of description.

But I do want to climb a mountain, spin around like Maria in The Sound of Music with a C-f-A sandwich in each hand, and then eat them.

Was it seriously THE BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH EVER?

Yes, due only to the flavor of the chicken and breading and the moistness of the chicken. It was not the healthiest, nor the best dressed, nor the best bun. But it was my favorite chicken sandwich I have personally ever had.

Ummmmm...Chick-fil-A is amazing. Maybe my favorite chicken sandwich ever, too. There was one in the food court area at Johnson County when I went to school there and I ate them as much as possible. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Deeeeelish.

We must be related.

Drove past a bunch of Chick-Fil-A's on our road trip, but none were open at the times we drove past and we only saw them in Maryland. So Jen and I were terribly sad that we didn't get to have any and we might have to venture to you in NYC to eat some someday soon....

That IS sad.

Also sad -- the last time Jeremy and I walked down there, the one in NYC was closed because NYU's semester had just ended. The horror! I'm hoping it opens back up once summer classes begin, but if the dorm is one that is closed for the summer I may have to wait until fall.
