I've been drinking those French Vanilla Cappuccinos since high school... I think it's heroin based.
For 3 years, I worked as a temp at The World Bank in DC. This is perhaps the highest concentration of extremely well-traveled and excessively-degreed Europeans in the US. These are people with very strong opinions about food and wine (and lodging and air accomodations, incidentally.) And THAT is the kind of coffee machine they had in the coffee bars in each building. In fact, that's how I learned to drink coffee - by drinking snack bar instant powdered cappuccino every afternoon. Yeah, I still like it too.
Both of your comments make me feel much better. I'm in good company (and that's just counting the two of you! When I add in all the well-traveled smartypants I'm doing even better).
